Ten years ago, I left New Zealand with nothing but a dream and a deep pull toward the wild. That dream carried me to South Africa, where I trained as a safari guide and spent years exploring the vast landscapes and hidden corners of Africa. In that time, Africa became more than a place, it became my teacher. The wilderness revealed strength I didn’t know I had, softened me in ways I didn’t expect, and completely reshaped how I see the world and myself.
herSAFARI was born from that journey. It’s my way of sharing Africa through a lens that feels personal, safe, and deeply meaningful. This is not just about seeing wildlife; it’s about being immersed in nature, finding stillness in the
wide-open spaces, and about walking away with new perspectives on life.
Africa has a way of leaving its imprint on you, and I believe every woman should have the chance to experience that magic for herself.
